If you’d like to have custom reminders set for your events, you can do so via the app’s push notifications. 

Instructions:

Find your event in the calendar or upcoming events. 

Scroll to “set a new reminder”, set your custom reminder using this button.

This will only work if you have push notifications turned on for the app on your device.
